Custom Dual Skid Trailer Build — Dragon Environmental
Dragon Environmental came back to Canyon Supply Co for their second custom trailer build. This time: a dual-skid configuration designed for environmental cleanup response work across the Southwest.
The Spec
The build centers on two separate pressure washer skid units mounted to a tandem-axle trailer, each independently operable. One skid runs cold water for initial surface prep and debris clearance; the second runs a diesel-heated hot water unit for decontamination and final cleaning.
Why Dual Skid
Environmental cleanup work often requires two crews working different areas of a site simultaneously. A dual-skid setup lets Dragon run two hoses from a single vehicle without splitting the team. They also valued the redundancy — if one unit needs attention mid-job, the other keeps working.
The Build Process
We worked directly with Dragon's operations manager over about three weeks on the spec. Trailer selection, skid placement, plumbing routing, and reel positioning all went through several revisions before metal hit the floor.
First Deploy
The trailer went out on its first commercial job within a week of delivery — a soil remediation site north of Phoenix. According to the team, it performed exactly as specced. They're already talking to us about unit three.
